How do I wash this KEEN water sandal?
Remove loose sand and dirt first. KEEN water sandals can be machine washed in cold water on a gentle cycle with a small amount of mild detergent. Wash alone or with non-delicate items, then air dry completely. Do not tumble dry.
How should I choose the right KEEN size?
Measure both feet while your child is standing and use the longer measurement with the KEEN size chart. Choose by the centimetre measurement rather than the size number alone, then check that there is comfortable room at the toes without the heel slipping.

PFC-free water durable repellent
PFCs (perfluorinated chemicals) are widely used in the outdoor industry for water repellency due to their durability, but they may contain carcinogens and they degrade slowly. So, KEEN switched to nontoxic alternatives that are equally effective. Today, KEEN is over 95% PFC-free.
Environmentally preferred leather
Tanning leather is traditionally a water-intensive process that leaves behind chemical waste. KEEN sources leather from Leather Working Group-certified tanneries, which use a closed-loop system to reduce water and energy use, eliminating wastewater pollution.
eco anti-odor
Foot odor is caused by bacteria, and traditional odor protection relies on pesticides, which can pollute waterways. Instead, KEEN uses natural probiotics, avoiding 15,400 lbs. of pesticides annually while achieving the same effectiveness.
